40 countries will be taking part in the 60th Eurovision Song Contest which will be held in Vienna on 19, 21 and 23 May. The next country to be introduced is the Czech Republic. Singing for the Czech Republic this year is Marta Jandová and Václav Noid Bárta.

Marta Jandová was born in Prague in 1974, and is known widely in Czech Republic and Germany as the lead singer of the alternative metal band, Die Happy, who have been releasing music since 1994. She has also performed with other bands such as Apocalyptica.

Václav Noid Bárta was born in 1980 and is a Czech singer, songwriter and actor. As a child he learned how to play the piano, flute and clarinet and then later went on to play guitar, bass and the drums. He has performed in numerous stage musical productions and appeared on multiple Czech television shows.
