TVP, the Polish broadcaster have extended an invitation to Sistem, the band who represented Romania in the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest together with Luminita Anghel, to participate in the country's national final, Piosenka dla Europy 2008.

TVP, the Polish national broadcaster, have invited Sistem to submit a song for their national selection as they were impressed by the placing the Romanian band achieved in the 2005 contest. The invitation, signed by Mr. Radoslaw Rusnak from TVP stated: "Highly appreciating your previous contribution to the Eurovision Song Contest, TVP is honoured to invite you to submit an entry to the Polish preselections to be held February 23".

Sistem are seriously considering the Polish broadcaster's invitation. So stay tuned for more information.

Sistem participated with Luminita Anghel in the Eurovision Song Contest 2005 in Kiev with the song Let me try and they came first in the semi finals and third in the finals.
