The Bookies’ favourite, Il Volo, the pop opera trio which will represent Italy at the Eurovision Song Contest grand final in May 23, revealed their 3 minute version of Grande amore.

3 minute version of the Italian entry

Grande amore, the Italian entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 was selected after their victory in the 2015 Sanremo song festival. The pop opera trio Il Volo performed twice their song in its original 3:44 minute version. Unfortunately, the song’s length is not allowed by the Eurovision rules and it had to be cut down to 3 minutes.

Few days ago, ESCToday has set an April Fools day prank for our readers, presenting a (custom edited) 3 minute version of the Italian song as to be the leaked version that Piero Barone, Ignazio Boschetto and Gianluca Ginoble will sing in Vienna.

Il Volo, are currently enjoying fame around Europe while they are considered among the hot favourites to win the competition in Vienna, this May.
