Elitsa Todorova, the Bulgarian representative in the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest, has been voted Woman of the year by the readers of Grazia magazine for her contribution to the Bulgarian music scene.

Elitsa Todorova’s respectable fifth place in last year’s Eurovision Song Contest together with partner Stoyan Yancoulov as well as their numerous concerts all over the world in the past year got her nominated for the Grazia magazine award. Grazia awards prominent Bulgarian personalities each year for their contribution in politics, society, music, sport, fashion, design, entertainment, journalism, charity and TV.

The readers of Grazia magazine had the opportunity to vote via sms for their favourites over an one-month period.The winners were announced during a grand gala at the Hotel Kempinski where Elitsa Todorova was very warmly received by the audience present. The popular percussion duo performed both their Eurovision entry, Water, as well as their new song Earth which is dedicated to the Keep the Earth clean project.
