HRT have confirmed that the Croatian preselection's format will remain as it was last year after all. There will be one semi final on 22 February, followed by the final the next day. The full list of participants will be announced very soon.

Dora, the Croatian preselection for the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest will be held in two phases this year as well, as it was earlier confirmed to esctoday.com by HRT. The participating acts as well as the presenters will be announced in the following two weeks

The names of the ten invited composers whose songs will compete directly in the final on the 23 February in Opatija are already known. The composers invited by HRT are: Miro Buljan, Nenad Ninčević, Miroslav Škoro, Husein Hasanefendić, Rajko Dujmić, Tamara Obrovac, Hari Rončević, Ante Pecotić and Denis Dumančić which gives us a total of 9 whereas the rules state 10. Partner site's Eurovision-Croatia.com sources claim that the 10th composer is Tonči Huljić (Croatia 1995, 1999, 2001) with young singer Andrea (Dora 2004 and 2005).
