40 countries will be taking part in the 60th Eurovision Song Contest which will be held in Vienna on 19, 21 and 23 May. The next country to be introduced is the United Kingdom. Singing for the UK this year is Electro Velvet.

Electro Velvet are a duo consisting of Alex Larke and Bianca Nicholas. They were formed especially for the Eurovision Song Contest 2015, but have both been singing previously to being in Electro Velvet.
Alex, as well as being a teacher, was in a Rolling Stones cover band, and Bianca had previously auditioned for the UK version of the TV talent show The Voice, where although she didn’t make it to the final, her audition has had over 250,000 views online. Alex has toured the world with his Rolling Stones cover band, and Bianca has also performed in front of British royalty.
