Eirikur Haukson, also known as Eric Hawk, the Icelandic entrant in the 2007 Eurovision Song Content in Helsinki has launched a new website and is touring Europe. After Helsinki, which was his third Eurovision experience, he has been performing as a solo artist as well as singer in various bands. Before the end of the year he will be performing, besides his second home country Norway, in Sweden, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Switzerland and the Czech Republic.

Eirikur first participated in the Eurovision song contest in 1986 as a member of Icy for Iceland that debuted in the contest that year. In 1991 he returned as a member of Just4fun for Norway. The group also included former Eurovision winner Hanne Krogh of Bobbysocks in 1985. These days Eirikur is also the lead singer for the Norwegian heavy metal band Artch as well as Live Wire, another Norwegian band that also includes ex-Uriah Heep member Ken Hensley. And if that wasn’t enough, he also sings in Trond Holler Project, by the guitarist of Wig Wam (Norway 2005).

His new website has his full schedule for gigs, links to the artists and bands he has worked or is working with. Another links feature his international fan club as well a Finnish fan club.
