LTV, the Latvian national broadcaster, has revealed that the band Brainstorm and Dons will both be performing as interval acts as the country selects their Eurovision Song Contest entry.
Brainstorm is one of the biggest bands to come out of Latvia, and represented the country in their debut in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2000.
Their third place finish with the song My star is Latvia’s second best placing to date, following Marie N’s win at the 2002 contest.
Dons is one of Latvia’s leading male singers and has been one of the jury members during this years national final.
Last year, Dons narrowly missed out on representing Latvia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 when he was beat in the super-final by Aarzemnieki.
He will be performing his latest single Pašãāielas gala, whilst Brainstorm will be performing their newest release Ziemu apēst.
Sunday’s show will see the four remaining acts, Elektrofolk, Markus Riva, Aminata and MNTHA battle it out to represent Latvia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2015.
