Molly Smitten-Downes, better known by her stage name Molly, is back with a new song. The British singer who represented the United Kingdom in the Eurovision Song Contest of 2014, recorded a dance track with the German DJ and producer Zwette.

Molly recorded vocals for Rush,  the new single by the DJ. The lyric video for the song premiered on Sunday 15 February and she presented it to her fans on Facebook, writing:

I’ve recently collaborated with Zwette on this funky little number. I love it. Makes me ready for summer. Hope you like it too

It is the first time in her career that she recorded a dance track, after the release of the pop single Lock Up Your Daughter in October 2014.

Just after her participation in Eurovision, it was announced that Molly was working on a solo album, but no details have been confirmed yet. The singer and songwriter has been busy penning some tracks for other artists lately, according to her official Facebook page. Molly was selected by the BBC to represent the United Kingdom in the Eurovision Song Contest last year. Despite being a favourite with the bookies, she finished in 18th place with her song Children of the universe.
