2. Kat Mahon – Anybody got a shoulder.

Kat lives in Drumlish, Co. Longford, right in the middle of Ireland. and was the county’s representative in the world famous Rose of Tralee 2014. She was part of the band Lilac Blues which performed on the All Ireland Talent Show. Disappointingly they were unsuccessful in getting to the final despite singing their very own song Kids.

The writer is Charlie McGettigan. Best known for Rock and roll kids which won Eurovision in 1994.

He is quoted as saying I’m delighted to be included in the final five. My song is a quite sad love song inspired by my very first knock back in the world of love and romance. I was 14 at the time but I still recall the pain of it all. I finally got over it last year at the ripe old age of 63!! I’m fine now!

On her facebook page Kat writes: Longford will be well represented at the Late Late show on the 27 Febuary with the incredible Paul Gurney on piano and the equally talented Paul Grealy on guitar. Cant wait to share this experience with these extremely talented lads….Hon Longford!!!
