Back in 2011, Jedward were selected to represent Ireland at the Eurovision Song Contest with their song Lipstick. Ending in 8th position and bringing Ireland one of their best results in recent years, Jedward decided to make a return to the competition in 2012 with their entry Waterline, ending in 19th position. More recently, Jedward have expressed that they would like to participate at the competition for a third time, but with a song that they have both written and produced.
