Shortly after Austria’s first rehearsal, Conchita revealed;

When I got there for the first time on this gigantic stage, I really had to fight back tears. I just thought “Now you’re where you always wanted.” I think that the production is done very well and the production team has done a great job. Now it’s really just about the finishing touches.

Conchita and the Austrian Eurovision team will return to the B&W Hallerne on Saturday 3 May for Conchita’s second rehearsal on the stage where some of the few changes will be implemented.

Back in September last year, Conchita Wurst was internally selected by ORF to represent Austria at the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest in the host city of Copenhagen. Conchita presented five songs to the Austrian national broadcaster with Rise like a phoenix being chosen as the official 2014 Austrian entry.
