Mision Eurovision Grand Final Tonight

The grand final of Mision Eurovision, the Spanish Eurovision preselection will be held tonight at the El Alamo in Madrid. 5 candidates, 5 entries and 25 combinations of song and singer will compete in the most extraordinary Spanish Eurovision preselection final. TVE and the organizers of Mision Eurovision have worked very hard to produce a magnificent show.

Tonight we will come to know both the song and singer that will represent Spain in the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest. Afer 6 weeks on air Mision Eurovision will be airing tonight its 7th gala The Grand Final. The show will be broadcast live at 22:30 hrs CET on TVE 1 and TVE International via satellite.

TVE and the organizers of Mision Eurovision have prepared an elegant show for tonights gala. Mision Eurovision's grand final promises to be full of excitement. Never ever before has Spain put in so much effort and prepararation in their Eurovision preselection. Paula Vasquez will be the hosting the show with the collaboration of Massiel and Mikel Herzog.

Nazaret, Mirela, Yanira Figueroa, Merche LLobera and NASH are the 5 competing acts that will battle out to represent Spain tonight. The songs competing in the final are Tu Voz Se Apagara, La Reina De La Noche, Busco Un Hombre, Una Lagrima and I Love You Mi Vida.

Tonight's Mision Eurovision Grand Final will consist of 2 phases (parts).

PHASE 1 ( Part 1).

In the first part of the show all the candidates will sing each of the competing competing entries (aprox. 1.30 mins of each competing song). Each competing candidate will be asked to sing the 5 competing entries, thus having 25 different combinations. The Spanish public will decide via televoting which are their 5 favourite combinations (singer and song combination). Below you can find the list with the names of the songs and singers (combined) in order of appearance:

  • 11. NASH – La reina de la noche
  • 12. Mirela – La reina de la noche
  • 13. Yanira Figueroa – La reina de la noche
  • 14. Merche Llobera – La reina de la noche
  • 15. Nazaret – La reina de la noche
  • 16. Mirela – Tu voz se apagará
  • 17. Merche Llobera – Tu voz se apagará
  • 18. NASH – Tu voz se apagará
  • 19. Nazaret – Tu voz se apagará
  • 20. Yanira Figueroa – Tu voz se apagará
  • 21. Merche Llobera – Una lágrima
  • 22. Nazaret – Una lágrima
  • 23. NASH – Una lágrima
  • 24. Yanira Figueroa – Una lágrima

Short Clips of former Spanish Eurovision artists and singers will be shown in between the competing songs in order to give the competing artists time to prepare for their next song. The results of the 5 most voted combinations will be announced live under the auspices of an official notary. The 5 combinations (singer and song) that will get the highest amount of votes will then qualify for the 2nd phase of the competition.

PHASE 2 (PART2)

The 5 combined entries with the highest votes will be performed again and telephone lines will be opened for the public to vote. This time each of the entries will be sung in its full version ie 3 minutes long. After the 5 combined entries (singer – song) are peformed telephones lines will beopened again for the public to vote. After the telephone lines are closedregional voting will commence. All the Spanish regions willgive out their votes in true Eurovision style as in the other Mision Eurovision galas. Each region will allot 1,2,3 and 5 points to their favourite combinations.

The winner will be announced officially after the results of the regional voting. Mr.D. Bioer Eriksen an official represent from the EBU will be flying to Madrid specially from Switzerland in order to certify officially both the song and the singer that will represent Spain in the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest.

The Grand Final of Mision Eurovision will be aired tonight live on TVE1 and TVE International via satellite. Below you can find the schedule and timetable:

  • TVE International (America 1) – 03.20 CET
  • TVE International ( America 2) – 05.20 CET
