Yesterday, the first semi final for the Armenian national final, which will be held this Sunday, took place. Ten songs were performed and three songs were chosen to move forward to the final – two of them by a jury (who will also decide the eventual winner) and a further one by SMS voting. The formula will repeated today with another 10 performances.

In 2006, Armenia debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest. Thanks to an 8th palce achieved by André with Without your love, the country is directly qualified for the final in Helsinki.
