German �Godfather of Eurovision�, 56-year-old composer Ralph Siegel, is divorcing his 34-year-old wife Dagmar, a model. Mr Siegel and she separated two years ago.
Ralph Siegel has composed the impressing amount of thirteen out of 46 German entries, including the only winner (1982, Nicole�s �Ein bisschen Frieden�) and the recent song �I can�t live without music� for Corinna May. An even multiple number of his entries have also taken part in the German finals. He has also composed Eurovision Songs for other countries.
Dagmar Siegel filed for divorce after ten years of marriage because she wants to make room for Ralph�s new girlfriend, Kriemhild Jahn. The composer met the 29-year-old sopran singer, freshly divorced herself, last summer and they live together since March. Before meeting her, Siegel had a much laughed at and very short love affair with Nadja Abdel Farrag, model and former girlfriend of Dieter Bohlen from the band Modern Talking and which was ended by Nadja via SMS.
Ralph Siegel has no new wedding plans at the moment.
