Birgit Õigemeel has been nominated for three Estonian Music Awards 2014.
The singer, who represented her native Estonia at last year’s Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö, was nominated by a 150-strong jury in the categories of Best Female Artist, Best Pop Album (for the 2013 release, Uus Algus) and Best Song (for her 2013 Eurovision entry, Et uus saaks alguse).
Now in its sixteenth year, the Estonian Music Awards Gala Concert will be held on Thursday, 30 January, and broadcast on Estonia’s TV3 television channel. The event is supported by the Estonian Ministry of Culture.
