Experts from the Latvian entertainment scene stated that Latvia hasn't got an adequate venue for the Eurovision Song Contest. The best location until now seems to be the Skonto Hall (picture), next to the Skonto Stadium.

Three possible venues are named for the Eurovision Song Contest. The Skonto Stadium or the hall in central Riga, the BT-1 Exhibition Hall in Riga's Kipsala area or the Ventspils Olympic Center might be the location for the next Eurovision Song Contest.

According to music manager Hermanis, Kipsala has poor acoustics and problems with ventilation, while the Ventspils arena is simply too small. Transportation to Ventspils is also problematic. The Skonto Stadium, which is also an Olympic venue, has also poor acoustics, although this can be improoved with a roof. Another named solution can be the Skonto Hall next to the stadium.
