Lena Meyer-Landrut is working on a new album. The singer who represented Germany in the Eurovision Song Contest twice, posted some pictures on her Instagram account which show she is recording in a studio in New York.

Lena released her first album My Cassette Player shortly before her first participation in Eurovision. Her second record Good News came out a year later when she took part in the contest for the second time. Her third studio album Stardust was released in October 2012 and she recently started working on her fourth record.

The 22-year-old singer experienced a successful period in 2013. She won an Echo Award for her video for the single Stardust and she was chosen as the best German Act and Best Central Europe act at the MTV European Music Awards. Lena also used her voice to play some characters in animation movies and audiobooks. She will be the German voice of Jane in the movie Tarzan 3D, that will be released in February.

In the following months Lena will be focusing on her music career again, as she is in New York at the moment to record new songs. The singer keeps her fans updated by posting pictures from the studio on her Instagram account.
