The four remaining names to be announced for Melodifestivalen will be revealed in a special television show to be aired in Sweden on Boxing Day, Tuesday 26th December. The four wildcards will be revealed during a special documentary about the selection process and how the 32 songs are chosen. It will be aired on SVT at 20:00CET and repeated at 13:40 on December 28th and 17:00 on December 30th.

For the first time, SVT are allowing viewers to take a look behind the curtains of the selection process and see how Melodifestivalen is created. They will see the jury in action deciding on the songs and interviews with the show producers will be featured.

Viewers will be able to meet the jury, see how they chose the songs, and meet the show's presenter, Kristian Luuk. They will also get to find out on television, who the four wildcards for 2007 will be and the final line-up for Melodifestivalen 2007.

So far, more than 20 names have been 'confirmed' as the four remaining competitors for the show by the Swedish press and various websites. The annual guessing game has been hotter than ever this year, but SVT are keen to maintain silence until the show is broadcast as a Christmas treat for Swedish viewers.
