Max Mutzke and Guildo Horn to sing at German beer festival

Max Mutzke, who finished eighth for Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest 2004 in Istanbul, and Guildo Horn, who came seventh in 1998 competition in Birmingham, will sing at the upcoming 19th Opladener Bierbörse, a beer festival where visitors can sample more than 1,000 brands of beer from Germany and all over the world.

The festival takes place from Friday, 12 August to Monday, 15 August in Gelsenkirchen. More than 400,000 visitors are expected, who can choose between over 1,000 different brands of beer, including the new Pope Beer from the Bavarian home of Pope Benedict. Persons below the age of 16 need to be accompanied by their parents to visit.

Max Mutzke will perform Sunday, from 20:30 CET. Guildo Horn, for whom this will be the eleventh appearance at the beer festival, is going to sing on Monday evening.
