Javine: “I hope the UK was proud of me”

Javine, who finished 22nd in this year's Eurovision Song Contest for the United Kingdom, with her song Touch my fire will be appearing at Europe�s biggest gay club this Saturday, 28th May to play a special set.

G.A.Y club in London are billing it as �Javine The Eurovision Homecoming Party� saying �Europe may hate us � but we still love her!�

Following her appearance in the Eurovision Song Contest Javine said: “I had a great time in Kyiv. Obviously I was disappointed with the final result, but I was really happy with my performance. I sang and performed to the best of my ability and have had nothing but great reactions from people. I hope the United Kingdom was proud of me. I'm straight back in the studio now working on my next single which will hopefully be out in the next couple of months. I'm determined to make all the exposure I've had work for me and make an album that musically I'm really happy with”.

Meanwhile the single of Touch my fire entered the charts at number 18 this week.
