Laura remains a hero in Lithuania

Despite not going to the final, Laura and the Lovers were greeted back in their home country Lithuania by proud journalists and well wishers yesterday awaiting their return at Vilnius Airport.

Laura is deemed a hero in her home country for having performed what has been described by the Lithuanian media as the “best performance ever by a Lithuanian artist at the Eurovision Song Contest”.

William 'Billy' Butt, manager and writer of Laura and the Lovers Eurovision Song Contest entry Little by little thinks that the EBU should do something to make the contest more 'digestable' by the viewers in the future. One Lithuanian journalist put it very well by saying: “Try to listen to 39 songs you've never heard before and select a winner in ten minutes. It's impossible”, as William 'Billy' Butt says to esctoday.com.
