Cypriot singer Constantinos Christoforou is currently in Malta as part of his Eurovision Song Contest promotional tour. His schedule in Malta is very busy with interviews for major television and radio stations, newspapers and local Eurovision-related websites.
Constantinos meets Chiara
Constantinos Christoforou arrived at Malta International Airport yesterday and will be leaving the island again later tonight. One of the first people to welcome Constantinos in Malta was Maltese Eurovision Song Contest representative Chiara. Together they had dinner in St.Julians.
Plans for Kyiv to be revealed on Eurovision Radio
OGAE Malta caught up with Constantinos Christoforou for an interview to be aired on Eurovision Radio tonight. The show to be broadcast on Super One radio will be webcast live via www.super1.com as of 20:45 CET. In tonight's Eurovision Radio the Club Remix of Ela ela will exclusively be premiered.
Constantinos revealed that there will be six people on stage during his performance of Ela ela in Kyiv, including another singer replacing Helena Patroklou who recently resigned due to personal reasons. The choreography and outfits are still being worked on but they won't be too different from the performance in the video clip of the Cypriot entry.
Constantinos fond of Greek and Maltese entry
Constantinos singled out the Greek entry My Number One and the Maltese entry Angel as his two favourites from this year's Eurovision Song Contest. He admitted that it will be a very tough competition with 39 countries taking part and said that at least his mind is at rest when thinking that he is directly qualified for the final.
Constantinos is a huge fan of the Eurovision Song Contest and will be trying his luck for the third time. He is looking forward for this experience and wishes himself a third time lucky!. Constantinos also revealed that his all time favourite Eurovision song is the 1983 winner from Luxembourg Si la vie est cadeau by Corinee Hermes.
