The Portuguese entry for the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest will be premiered during Gala de Aniversário RTP on 31st March, Nuno Santos (RTP) informed esctoday.com. In the semifinal in Kiev, Portugal will be represented by the duo 2B.

2B consists of Rui Drumond and Luciana. Rui Drumond competed in the first edition of Operação Triunfo. Luciana participated in the second edition of Idols. Rui and Luciana will perform a song written by Jose da Ponte, Alexandre Honrado and Ernesto Leite. RTP will organise a press conference in order to present the composers, the singers and the song Amar.

The Portuguese entry for the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest will be premiered on 31st March during the television show Gala de Aniversário RTP. The show that will be celebrating RTP's anniversary of the Portuguese broadcaster starts at 22:10 CET.

2B will be representing Portugal in the semifinal of the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest, to be held on 19th May in Kiev.
