Melodifestivalen songs invade Swedish charts

The songs from Melodifestivalen 2005 are invading the Swedish single charts. 18 Melodifestivalen songs currently are in the Top 40 of the Swedish Hitlistan. Surprisingly, the winner Martin Stenmarck only reached the seventh place with the song Las Vegas. The girls' favourite Jimmy Jansson (pictured) who ended 6th in last week's final has become the best seller.

Last week Alcazar held the number one position and Jimmy was only 13th. Nanne, who won the televote last Saturday is apparently not the most popular choice for Swedish single buyers as it's currently only number fifteen. Martin Stenmarck who will represent Sweden at the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest only reached the 7th spot in his first week in Hitlistan.
