Germany will be represented by Gracia at the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest in Kiev. Gracia won the German national final Germany 12 points! with the song Run & hide. The Ralph Siegel composition A miracle of love, performed by Nicole Süßmilch & Marco Matias, finished second.

After a first round of televoting, the two superfinalists of Germany 12 points! were determined: Nicole Süßmilch & Marco Matias with A miracle of love and Gracia with Run & hide.

In a second televoting round Gracia defeated her competitors by a very small difference, gaining 52.8% of the votes. Nicole Süßmilch & Marco Matias received 47.2% for A miracle of love.

Gracia's song Run & hide is composed by David Brandes and Jane Tempest; John O'Flynn (a pseudonym of Bernd Meinunger) wrote the lyrics. Brandes also produced the song Cool vibes to be performed by Vanilla Ninja, representing Switzerland. The Estonian girlband openly supported Gracia, and asked on their website to vote for their German friend.

Gracia will represent Germany in the final of the Eurovision Song Contest on 21th May in Kiev.
