Tonight and tomorrow, Croatian broadcaster HRT is holding the semifinals of Dora 2005. 9 songs will compete in each semifinal. The songs finishing in the top 7 of each semifinal will proceed to the national final to be held on 5th March.
This is the line-up for Dora 2005 – Semifinal 1

Among tonight's semifinalist is Danijela. She represented Croatia at the Eurovision Song Contest twice before. In 1998 she finished 5th with the song Neka mi ne svane. Together with the group Magazin she represented her country earlier in 1995 when they reached the 6th place with the song Nostalgija.
The first Croatian semifinal can be watched online here as of 21:05 CET.
In the final, to take place on 5th March, 14 songs will be performed. A three-member jury (50%) and televoting (50%) will decide which 3 songs would have the best chances in Kiev. Televoting only will then select one of the 3 songs to represent Croatia at the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest.
