Tonight in Israel: Kdam-Eurovision 2005

14 entries will compete tonight in the Kdam-Eurovision for the right to represent Israel at the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest in Kiev.

The Kdam-Eurovision returns tonight after an absence of 4 years. The show will feature these 14 entries competing to represent Israel at the Eurovision Song Contest's semifinal, on May 19th:
1.Samir Shukri & Efrat Cohen- Be'ahava Gdola
2.Zehava Ben- Peace and Love
3.Michal Amdurskey- Targish Oti
4.Momy Levy- Yesh Li Et Halayla
5.Merav Siman-Tov- Hamon
6.Group Gaya- Ode-la-ya
7.Shiri Maymon- Hasheket Shenish'ar
8.Rinat Gabay- Jerusalem
9.Yossi Azulay- Don't Worry Baby
10.Mira Anuar-Awad- Zman
11.The Alayev Family- Esperansa
12.The Pick Sisters- Hello Hello
13.Tzvika Pick & Friends- Or Yare'ach
14.Rinat Bar- Kmo Chalom.

The show will be presented by Moran Atias and Didi Harari. The interval acts during the show will feature the 14 entries in a Eurovision medley, Ruslana and more. The clips between the entries will mark the 50th anniversary of the Eurovision Song Contest. The winner will be known at the end of the voting which will comprise of a televoting (without SMS), 5 juries and the vote of the audience at the venue in Jerusalem.
The official album of the Kdam-Eurovision (cover pictured), which includes all 14 entries will be released tomorrow morning under the IMP record label.

In addition to the television broadcast of the show, the official IBA Eurovision website, eurovil, will provide a webcast of the show. The webcast will kick off at 20.30 (local time) with an exclusive coverage of the 'red carpet' and the green room. At 21.00 the show itself will commence on IBA's Channel 1 and the official website.
