Eight songs fell off during the first heat of the Slovenian final EMA 2002. The evening started with a performance of the Slovenian version of 'Everybody' by the hosts, Nu�a Derenda and Darja �vajger.

Five songs were chosen by a jury, another group of five by televoting.

Tomorrow, the final night will be held. Ines, the representative of Estonia in 2000, will perform 'Once in a lifetime' again. Also, a third professional jury will be added to select the Slovenian representative for this year's Eurovision Song Contest.
