Cypriot broadcaster CyBC has informed esctoday.com that Elena Patroklou will join Constantinos Christoforou on stage of the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest. Elena Patroklou represented Cyprus in Rome in 1991. In Kiev, Ela ela will be presented by “Constantinos featuring Elena Patroklou”.

Elena Patroklou could already been heard on the backing track of Ela ela when Constantinos Christoforou presented his four songs for the Eurovision Song Contest during the Cypriot national final on 1st February.

Elena Patroklou is the female singer of the Greek group Zig-Zag that has been successful since the 80's. Since she started her career in Greece she has worked with the biggest Greek stars and composers. Elena Patroklou represented Cyprus at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1991. With the song S.O.S. she finished 9th in Rome.

On 21st May, Elena Patroklou will join Constantinos Christoforou on stage to perform the Cypriot entry Ela ela in the final of the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest in Kiev.
