The line-up for the semifinals of the Eurovision Song Contest selections in Serbia & Montenegro have been revealed. The draw for Beovizija has been held today, live on RTS 1 during the TV show Nedeljno popodne. Yesterday, the draw for Montevizija took place.

This year, the Beovizija festival will take place for the third time at the Sava Center in Belgrade. Beovizija is the Serbian semifinal organized by RTS. 197 entries have submitted for the competition. On 19th February, 24 songs will be performed. The top-14 will proceed to the national final Europjesma – Evropesma 2005. The best song of Beovizija 2005 will be selected by an eight-member jury and by televoting.

Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place, best interpretation, best arrangement, best lyrics, best performance and best young artist. The special prize will be awarded by the audience. On 20th February, the second day of Beovizija 2005, the yearly music awards will be announced. Prizes will be awarded in 16 categories. In addition, the best songs of the festival will be performed during the award ceremony.

The Montevizija Festival will take place for the first time at the RTCG TV studio in Podgorica. It will act as the Montenegrin semifinal organized by RTCG. 82 entries have been submitted for the competition. On 2nd March, 24 songs will be performed. The top-10 will proceed to the national final Europjesma – Evropesma 2005. The best songs of Montevizija 2005 will be selected by the eight-member jury and by televoting.

EUROPJESMA – EVROPESMA

The national final Europjesma – Evropesma 2005 will be held at the RTCG TV studio in Podgorica. On 4th March, the winner will be chosen between 24 songs (14 from Serbia and 10 from Montenegro). The 2005 representative of Serbia & Montenegro will be chosen by an eight-member jury (4 members from Serbia, 4 from Montenegro) and by televoting. On 5th March, prizes for best songs of the Europjesma – Evropesma & Montevizija will be awarded.

All 5 nights of Beovizija, Montevizija & Europjesma – Evropesma 2005 will start at 21.00 CET and will be broadcast live by RTS 1 (Serbia), RTCG 1 (Montenegro), RTS Sat and RTCG Sat (Europe). Also, it will be broadcast via Internet on RTS's website.
