German final: a wildcard for Gracia

Deutschland sucht den Superstar (Idols) participant Gracia Baur has been granted a wildcard for Germany 12 Points, the national preselection. On 12th March ten finalists will vie for the ticket to Kiev in the Treptow Arena in Berlin.

22 year-old Gracia was one of the participants of the first German Idols show. Her new single 'Run and hide, with which she scored a top 40 hit and thus qualified for a wild card for the German final, is produced by David Brandes, who also produces the Estonian girl band Vanilla Ninja, this year's Swiss Eurovision representative.

The final participant's list of Germany 12 Points!, in alphabetic order, reads as follows:

10. Villaine: Adrenalin.

The German final will take place 12 March 2005 in Berlin. Sports reporter Reinhold Beckmann will host the show. Special guests include Ruslana, former Spice Girl Emma Bunton, Patricia Kaas, Leonid Agutin and Al di Meola. The winner will be decided by televoting.
