Norwegian glamrock group Wig Wam has been revealed as the 7th finalist in the Norwegian national final. Wig Wam participates in Melodi Grand Prix for the second consecutive year. Last year they finished third.

The glamrockers Wig Wam will probably be the most untraditional participants in the Norwegian Melodi Grand Prix 2005. Wig Wam revealed their participation on their website and announced that their song is called In my dreams. The song is described as a typical 'Wig Wam' classic.

Last year, Wig Wam delivered a spectacular stage show in Melodi Grand Prix 2004. With the song Crazy things they finished third. On their website, the band tells their fans that they feel very honoured by Norwegian broadcaster NRK's invitation. Their only complaint is that they feel that three minutes is a bit too short for their music since they are used to perform longer songs at their concerts.

On Friday, Wig Wam will appear in the music game show Memo in which they will deliver their own special version of the German Eurovision Song Contest entry Dschinghis Khan from 1979. The Norwegian national final Melodi Grand Prix 2005 takes place on 5th March.
