The department for entertainment at RTV SLO, the slovenian national broadcaster, will prepare a special concert to remember the 50th anniversary of the Eurovision Song Contest. About 12 popular Slovenian bands and singers will perform in a show that will be aired this Sunday at 20:00 on TVS1.

Mojca Mavec, who makes all decisions about EMA and the 50th anniversary show, decided to bring some of the most succesful Eurovision Song Contest songs back to life in a fresh and modern version. Special guests of the show will be Alya, Ro�marinke, Jadranka Juras, Dan D, Invite, 6 Pack Čuku, the ethno group Katalena and one of the most succesful Slovenian rockbands �ankrock, who will make a short walk through the Eurovision Song Contest history from 1956 until today. The big orchestra of RTV SLO will see for the music.

Eventhough the concert will be a nice gift to all Slovenian Eurovision fans, the most important thing for them will happen on 6th February, when the decision on who will represent Slovenia in Kiev will be made.
It is again expected that, like in the previous years, a lot of public attention, speculations and scandals will be present at the most watched Slovenian music show: EMA 2005.

On 1st February between 19:30 and 21:00, radio station VAL 202 will play all 14 songs that have been selected for the Slovenian national final for the first time.
