A total of eight acts made it through to the next stage of You're a star and are still in the running to represent Ireland in the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest. This week, The Henry Girls secured the most support from the public, who voted both by text and on the phone. The Henry Girls were followed by Pete Fagan, Aine O'Doherty and Sinead Mulvey.

The other four acts voted through were the wildcards Lorraine Maher and Ann Harrington, brother and sister Donna & Joseph McCaul, and the Jade band.
