Max Mutzke, who represented Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest 2004 with Can't wait until tonight and finished a respectable 8th place, hits the top spot of the German album sales charts with the release of his first album, simply entitled Max Mutzke.

Unlike many previous German Eurovision entries, Max' song Can't wait until tonight was one of the best-selling singles in Germany in 2004 and was a number one hit for many weeks. More than a half year after his participation in Istanbul, Max now released a full album, containing 13 tracks, written and produced by him and Stefan Raab, the German representative in 2000 and composer of Can't wait until tonight. The album also features Max' recent single Schwarz auf weiss (Black on white).
