The rules of Malta Song for Europe force the Maltese singer to choose one of the songs.

The final of Malta Song for Europe takes place on 19th February, at the Mediterranean Conference Centre, Valletta. The selection of 22 songs for the final, which has been made today out of 50 songs, will be made public within hours. 100% televoting will decide the Maltese representative for the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest.
