With less than 5 months to go until the Eurovision Song Contest takes place in Kiev, the renovations of the Palats Sportu have begun. Earlier this month, the European Broadcasting Union made a positive balance of the preparations for the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest after visiting host broadcaster NTU.

At the moment, the main stage of the Palats Sportu is carefully being prepared for the Eurovision Song Contest and reconstruction works have already been started. The first renovations are just a beginning of making the Palats Sportu an acceptable venue for hosting the Eurovision Song Contest.

The following weeks and months more technical problems will be solved. The Palats Sportu will get a new ceiling and a facelift, airconditioning will be installed and very important for an event such as the Eurovision Song Contest… the acoustics of the venue will be improved.
