Next Tuesday, 7th December, SVT will officially present the 28 performers for the upcoming Swedish Eurovision Song Contest selections Melodifestivalen 2005. The additional four jokers will be announced in January 2005

The first heat of Melodifestivalen 2005 will be held in Göteborg on 12th February. The second heat takes place in Linköping on 19th February, the third heat in Skellefteå on 26th February and the fourth heat in Växjö on 5th March. A second chance round will be organized on 6th March. The final of Melodifestivalen 2005 takes place in Stockholm on 12th March 2005.
