The Estonian representative in the Eurovision Song Contests of 1996 and 1997 and participant in the Swedish Melodifestivalen 2003, Maarja-Liis Ilus, caused a car accident in Tallinn yesterday, in which she was injured.
The accident happened yesterday (October 26th) in front of Weizenberg Street 6 in Tallinn, where the 24-year old singer hit another Mercedes with her Mercedes, which in turn hit a Volkswagen Passat.
Maarja was hurt during the accident and was taken to Mustamäe hospital in Tallinn. The injuries however proved to be light and doctors let her return home after first aid was provided.
