Earlier we reported about the 28 songs selected for the Swedish national finals. On 7th December SVT will announce the performers of those 28 songs and the 4 wild cards selected for Melodifestivalen 2005.

But Sweden wouldn't be Sweden if the speculations about the performers wouldn't begin some months before the official announcement. According to escsweden.com, the following artists can already be expected in Melodifestivalen 2005: Caroline Wennergren, Hanna & Lina, Avalon, Fredrik Kempe, Bodies Without Organs, Tommy Nilsson, The Wallstones, Camilla Brinck, Martin Stenmarck, Ayesha Quraishi, Shirley Clamp, Papa Dee, Jessica Andersson (picture), Pernilla Wahlgren, Ken, Yossif, Rickard Engfors, Pay-TV, Cameron Cartio, Anne-Lie Rydé, Arja Saijonmaa, Cecilia Vennersten & Robert Åhlin, Jimmy Jansson and Nordman.

Futhermore British singer Alison Moyet, former leadsinger of the band Yazoo, is expected to be one of the four wildcards. Swedish news paper Expressen believes in another participation of Nina & Kim. Aftonbladet even expects the Australian world star Kylie Minogue to participate in Melodifestivalen 2005 before launching her Greatest Hits Tour in Glasgow on 19th March, exactly one week after the final of Melodifestivalen 2005.
