UKRAINE WINS EUROVISION SONG CONTEST 2004

With 280 points, Ukraine won the 49th Eurovision Song Contest. Thanks to Ruslana and her song Wild dances, the 50th edition of the event will take place most likely in Kiev, Ukraine.

After an exciting televoting, new Eurovision Song Contest participant Serbia & Montenegro ended up second with 263 points. Greece ended up third with 252 points, host country Turkey reached the fourth place with 195 points.

Norway closes the list with only 3 points from neighbour country Sweden. Ireland ended up 23rd with only 7 points and Xandee from Belgium, who was one of the favourites this year, ended up 22nd with 7 points.
