In the first ever 'Eurovision wedding', Simon and Diana, members of Slovenian band, Platin, married at Istanbul's Maiden's Tower on Thursday. The couple, whose entry Stay forever was eliminated in the qualifying round of the Eurovision Song Contest in Istanbul on Wednesday, enjoyed a fantastic ceremony in front of many friends, family and participants.

Simon and Diana went to the Maiden's Tower in Istanbul by the Sultan's Boat, where their marriage was witnessed by Sertab Erener, who won last year's Eurovision Song Contest for Turkey, and Marjan Babic.

Both Simon and Diana said ''evet'', meaning ''yes'', in Turkish, as they accepted each other as husband and wife. Simon and Diana told reporters that it was very pleasing to get married in Turkey and it would be something they would never forget. Then, the newly-married couple who have been together for five years left the Maiden's Tower again by the Sultan's Boat for their reception.

Esctoday.com congratulates Simon and Diana on their wedding and wishes them the best of luck for thier future together.
