France' Jonatan Cerrada has just finished his first share of rehearsals on the Eurovision stage inside the Abdi Ipekci stadium.
France' perfomance this year looks quite surprising and innovative: Accompanying Jonatan on stage there are 4 backing vocalists and a dancer on stilts. Two huge baloons shaped as globes are also part of the scene, one is hung from the ceiling and another one is placed on the big dome shaped stage in the back.
The French team changed it's stage direction 3 times during their rehearsals. Initially, the 4 backing vocalists were all straped with strips to the globe baloon just above them, on the centre stage. The second act featured the vocalists singing from the back left hand side stage, having Jonatan singing with them at the beginning of the song. When the third act started, the backing vocalists were still on the left stage, but now Jonatan started singing on the high middle dome shaped stage, jumping lightly onto the centre stage, to sing slong side the dancer on stilts.
France will have now it's first press conference inside the press tent.
