UK bookmakers William Hill make Greece the 3-1 favourites to win this years Eurovision, after a big gamble from their Greek clients when they first started the betting. Equally, a steady stream of support for the Ukraine has seen their odds cut from 33-1 to 7-1 second favourites, while Belgium, Sweden and Ireland have been popular choices for the punters right from the start.
William Hill's spokeswoman Jennie Prest said: “Our two favourites are songs that haven't yet qualified for the final, but the punters seem to think they will get through and be in with a really good chance of winning. Germany and Serbia & Montenegro are also well backed”.
