The English version of this year's Swedish Eurovision Song Contest entry already leaked on the internet. It hurts, the English version of Det gör ont, is the version Lena Philipsson will sing in the Eurovision final on 15th May.
Leaked too early
Earlier this month, esctoday.com received the sound file of It hurts from an anonimous source, but Lena Philipsson's record company, SONY Sweden, and the Swedish broadcaster SVT requested not to release the sound file until it can be bought in the Swedish CD shops. So far, the sound file can be found on file sharing programmes such as Soulseek.
Chart success
As It hurts will be released later this month, the sound file leaked too early. As Det gör ont can still be found on the first position of the Swedish chartlist Hitlistan, a major success of the English version is expected.
