The Turkish group Athena was chosen to represent the host country of the Eurovision Song Contest 2004 some months ago. The Turkish broadcaster TRT has announced that Athena will present 3 or 4 songs to the Turkish audience on 24th January, one of which will be chosen as the Turkish entry for the contest.

TRT and Athena will choose 3 or 4 songs from all the submitted entries in the next few weeks. Athena will perform the chosen songs in a live television programme on 24th January. The Turkish public will pick the winning song by televoting.

One thing is for sure, the song will be sung in English!
