Croatia won the first Junior Eurovision Song Contest: Dino with Ti si moja prva ljubav. Congratulations! Spain ended up second, the United Kingdom third.

The Netherlands got the first Junior Eurovision Song Contest point ever. Greece started the voting procedure and suprised Europe with 12 points for… Cyprus! Croatia gave their 12 points to Belarus, and Cyprus gave 11 points for the first time ever, correcting it into 10…their douze points to… Greece (how surprising!). And then… everything all over again, because the rules say that in case of mistakes the whole procedure should be done all over again.

Croatia won the first Junior Eurovision Song Contest: Dino with Ti si moja prva ljubav. To take pressure from the participants, it was already decided on forehand that the second edition will take place in London on 20th November, 2004.
