TRT: Eurovision Song Contest 2004 at the Mydonose Showland

The Turkish broadcaster (TRT) has confirmed that the Mydonose Showland, just outside center Istanbul, will indeed be the venue for the Eurovision Song Contest 2004, to be held on May 12th and 15th.

The 2004 venue was tipped earlier as a possible venue, depsite it's rather limited capacity, in comparison to contests in recent years. The Mydonose Showland is located near Istanbul's Ataturk airport and fairly large number of hotels, as the European Broadcasting Union demanded prior to the final decision.
