After an exciting night of performances, Ukraine have decided upon their 2019 representative – Maruv will represent them at the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest with the Siren song!

Six acts were in the running tonight for the Ukrainian crown, but it was Maruv who walked away with the trophy, winning the combination of the televote and jury and placing first overall. It’s noteworthy that it was her who entered the competition after Tayanna’s withdrawal from the initial participants list in late Jamuary!

Freedom Jazz finished as the runner-up, and Kazka took the bronze medal.

Here’s her performance at tonight’s final

Ukraine will compete with Maruv in the second half of the first semi-final on Tuesday 14 May.
